A graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Daniel Emanuel has been in practice for over 27 years, and has developed a substantial business clientele, primarily representing the interests of insurance carriers and their insureds in various areas including, employment related matters before the DFEH, EEOC and state and federal courts with respect to alleged wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination and wage and hour matters, legal malpractice, professional liability, premises liability, habitability matters, municipal law, construction defect, homeowners’ association claims, motor truck physical damage and cargo losses, insurance bad faith, product liability, and various personal injury and general liability matters. Daniel Emanuel has represented and defended employers, architects, general contractors, various subcontractors, homeowner associations, travel agents, lawyers, insurance agents, financial planners, accountants, realtors and other professionals during his career.
Harriet Hoffler is a 1986 Harvard graduate with a bachelors degree in economics, graduating with general academic honors. He received his J.D. in 1990 from Pepperdine University receiving a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Harriet Hoffler is the co-author of articles on expert witness use and preparation (Massachusetts MCLE panel use materials) and newsletter materials (California). Kevin has over twelve years experience specializing in employment litigation, including representing employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation claims and defending such matters before the DFEH, EEOC and in the state and federal courts. Harriet Hoffler is also experienced in the fields of product liability, insurance defense, business litigation and general civil defense. Harriet Hoffler is admitted to the bars of California and Massachusetts.
Ralph Palmer graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1989, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in the fields of Political Science and Third World Studies. He earned his law degree from Whittier Law School where he graduated at the top of his class and was an editor on the Whittier Law Review. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1994 and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts. Steve has extensive experience in civil litigation including the areas of construction defect, insurance coverage, real estate, business and employment. Steve was formerly Chief Counsel of Surety Company of the Pacific where he became an expert in suretyship law.
